While there are numerous funding sources to explore, most likely there will be few that match a grant writers specific project. This component will provide information on how to look for available funding sources and how to match your need with a funder.

Components and Expectations
In the world of grant writing, there is no “one size fits all” for meeting the requirements of every potential funder. However, there are many similar aspects for consideration when writing a grant. Showcasing and Managing Your Project
Grant writers must be able to not only show that their project will meet an identified need, but that it will do it in a way that is impactful and worthy of funding. If funded, they also must be able to provide proper project management.

Grant Review Process and Follow-up
Instructor(s) will cover the various methods by which grant funders review applications. Also covered will be best practices on how to follow-up with the funder and stakeholders after the funder acts on your application.
